Arequipa city
Casona Solar
A restored old casona (18th century) with a lot of history. If you see pictures of how Gerso (Dutch owner) and Edith found it, you do not believe what your eyes see. Spacious standard rooms around the garden or almost royal suites around the patio breathe Arequipa all over. A really nice place, which not in vain was declared National Monument.
Palla
The newest addition to our Arequipa’s lodging options of which we are very excited to share and recommend, because of the many features we were glad to find in it. Probably the roof-terrace is the most enjoyable part, where breakfast is served. But also the very luminous bathrooms. Details are all over as well as sustainability practices. Many likes for this hotel!
Katari
Equidistant to the hotels mentioned before and at the very epicenter of the city, Katari is a very practical option if you don’t mind being right next to the main square (high windows give you the views while keeping your room-privacy). On the other side, its location makes of it a superb look-out over the bustling city center and the daily life of commuters.
Colca Valley
Las Casitas
“The Little Houses” is the name given to this collection of bungalows, that together with its vegetable garden and farm, will give you the feeling of being a member of a self-sufficient village away from any modern town. Las Casitas is a great retreat featuring the nicest amenities like pool, spa and unique spaces and activities thought for boosting the pleasure of just being there.
Colca Lodge
Rooms that seem like they came straight from the earth, perfectly blending with the surroundings and blessed by the natural energy of geotherms. A colorful place like no other in a great location by the Colca river.
Titicaca Lake
Amantica
An island refuge that also gives a hand to its neighboring villagers through social projects. Calid and warm, as needed for its location in the Amantaní island on Titicaca lake. Exclusiveness at its best, as you will feel you are the lucky few ones among the water and the stars. You will get to know Oswaldo and Serapio among many other natives that will make of your stay an unparalleled experience.
Titilaka
At this perfectly planned hotel you will be able to select rooms based on your preferences of witnessing dawn or dusk, or some other features. But Titilaca is more than that as its responsible practices make of it one of our favorites. A place thought for adults as for children as well, and considering the fact of being at high altitudes, they are always ready to give you a hand when needed.
Now imagine yourself covering this Arequipa-Colca-Titicaca route, and still with eyes wide shut you can pick your accommodation with no regrets, this is the magic of it.
